What made you interested in psychological thrillers?

For me, I remember being in college and my psychology professor was telling a story of sleep paralysis. He talked about this creature in the night that would sit on the chest of the one who was asleep. I don’t remember if it was a book or a real life experience but it caught my attention as I’ve experienced what’s known as sleep paralysis on several occasions.

I remember lying in bed one night and I heard the voice of a woman.
“Do you know what a heart attack feels like?”

That was the question she asked me before placing her unseen hands on my chest and then I started to feel my heart palpitating. I was afraid. I jumped up and ran.
