What’s a piece of media (book, movie, song) that changed how you see the world?
I was always a visual learner. A pictorial writer and reader. I’ve seen things that were unexplainable. And I’ve encountered the same. Words could not describe the experience. Sometimes I thought that something was wrong with me or that no one would understand the things that go on around me. Although the movie Insidious was not intended to be based on a real story, the experiences in them were based on reports of close friends of the writers.
The movie made me realize that the world, yet so small to me, wasn’t unfamiliar territory to others.
That I wasn’t imaging things after all. So now I write about those experiences and turn them into short stories or even novellas.
