What is one way you have grown this year?

Looking back over my life, I noticed that I spent a significant amount of time explaining myself. Explaining why I do what I do. Explaining my motives and my heart. And one thing I’ve come to realize is that people’s version of you will never change once they are convinced of the version they choose to see.

I’ve chosen to be okay with that. To be okay with the fact that not everyone is going to love me and not everyone is going to choose me so I choose me in every situation.

I no longer explain. I just live out loud and continue to be happy with the progress I make.
