If you could go back and witness any historical event, which one would you pick?

Honestly, I think I’d want to see the dinosaurs.

Not just because dinosaurs are fascinating, but because I would want to see what life was actually like back then.

What did the world look like?
What did the environment sound like?
How did the dinosaurs behave?

And most importantly…

Were they really as dangerous as we think they were? 

Could some of them have been tamed? Were they aggressive, or were we just unlucky enough to be smaller than them?

Now, before anybody gets excited, let me make one thing VERY clear…

I want to witness it, not participate in it.

I don’t need to be standing next to a T. rex taking selfies.

Put me somewhere safe, preferably behind some extremely strong glass, and let me watch from a distance.

I’d love to see it with my own eyes.

But I also know myself well enough to say:

Curiosity would have me looking. Common sense would have me keeping my distance. 😂
