A Needle in a Haystack

What’s the best thing you’ve ever found randomly on the street?

For me, it was my daughter’s key.

She had lost it while walking home from school. She searched for it but couldn’t find it. Three days later, we went for a walk, and somehow I spotted a key lying on the ground.

Her key.

The same key she had been looking for.

And here’s the crazy part: I found it a few miles ahead of where she had lost it.

Now, I could call that random.

But honestly, I don’t think it was.

Out of everything lying on the ground, somehow my eyes landed on the one thing we needed.

For her, that key was like looking for a needle in a haystack.

For me?

Bullseye.

Sometimes the things we’re looking for have a way of finding us when we least expect it.

Or maybe they were right there all along, and we just needed to be walking in the right direction.
