Are you a lifelong learner?
Am I a lifelong learner?
Absolutely.
Every day has something to teach me. Sometimes the lesson is what to do. Other times it’s what not to do. Some lessons show me where to go, while others remind me where I should never return.
Learning isn’t confined to classrooms or books. It happens through conversations, mistakes, victories, disappointments, and quiet moments of reflection. If we’re paying attention, life is always teaching us something.
I think of it like a fruit tree. To produce healthy fruit, it has to be pruned. Branches are cut away; not to harm the tree, but to help it grow stronger.
Life prunes us in much the same way. It removes habits that no longer serve us, challenges our thinking, humbles our pride, and teaches us patience. The process isn’t always comfortable, but growth rarely is.
So yes, I’m a lifelong learner. As long as I have breath, there will always be something new to learn, something old to unlearn, and another opportunity to grow.
