If you could erase one trend from history, what would it be?

If I could erase one trend from history, it would be saying things just because everyone else was saying them.

My daughter went through a phase where everything ended with:

“6…7!”

She’d count, “1, 2, 3…” and then dramatically emphasize, “6…7!” She’d even end conversations with it.

To this day, I couldn’t tell you what it meant.

Neither could she.

She just knew everyone was saying it.

I remember thinking, “Can someone please explain what 6…7 is supposed to mean?”

Maybe that’s what trends are. Sometimes they make perfect sense. Other times, they spread so fast that no one stops to ask why.

I’m still waiting for someone to explain 6…7. 😄
